Corporate social Responsibility: SPARTHA Medical

What does this mean for businesses?

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been an increasingly important topic in the corporate world over the last years. It is a wide concept that can take many forms depending on the company and the sector. Through CSR programmes, philanthropy and volunteering, companies can benefit society by adopting more responsible practices. Companies that adopt CSR programmes have often developed their activities to the point where they can give back to society. They are voluntary and not mandated by law. That is why we integrate social and environmental concerns in our business operations and interactions with stakeholders.

Our aims are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of global goals adopted in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly’s 193 member states in the frame of the 2030 Agenda. The SDGs aim to eradicate poverty, safeguard the planet, and promote prosperity for all.

As a responsible corporate entity, SPARTHA Medical is dedicated to grow within the frame of these goals.

Corporate social Responsibility Charter of SPARTHA Medical

We recently created our CSR Charter, a document built and shared with our entire team, that outlines the guidelines for our company’s commitment to ethical development. It is based on a holistic approach to the company and the society in which we operate. The Charter considers the social and environmental issues of SPARTHA Medical’s economic activity and applies it to all levels of the company. The CSR Charter is a living document that will evolve as the company grows. It is a support for projecting SPARTHA Medical into a system of continuous progress, by improving our positive impacts while reducing our negative effects. To do this, we have identified 10 objectives among the 17 SDGs.

However, it is important to note that this selection corresponds to those most suitable for our scope and activities, but that all the SDGs are interconnected and must be considered in their integrity and of equal importance. For these 10 goals, we divided them into two categories: « Core » and « Impact”.

The Sustainable Development Goals

The « Core » objectives are the SDGs on which we can have the most influence on:

The health sector is the core business of our company. It is therefore the objective where our activities will have the greatest impact and reach. We are committed to providing quality products and services that enhance the health of patients and target global public health issues. We prioritise the establishment of sustainable practices that are environmentally sound.

 Our commitment on

The company respects the rights of its employees and creating quality jobs to contribute to sustainable and sustained economic growth.

SPARTHA Medical is innovating in its field of activity and developing sustainable infrastructure to improve the efficiency of its operations. This SDG is essential to our organisation. We know that technological advances promote economic and social progress, and we are dedicated to using our cutting-edge innovations to enhance healthcare delivery.

The company is reducing its environmental impact by making ecodesigned products and by adopting responsible consumption and production practices, either in the offices or in the laboratories.

SPARTHA Medical is committed to collaborate with like-minded partners to achieve its sustainable development goals. We believe that collaboration is crucial for addressing global challenges, and we work closely with local and international partners to contribute to the SDG.

The « Impact » objectives are the SDGs which our activities will have more limited consequences:

CSR is a comprehensive approach to conducting business that acknowledges the interdependence between companies and the societies in which they operate, from economic, social, and environmental viewpoints. At SPARTHA Medical, we have adopted a CSR Charter that reflects our commitment to becoming a conscious and responsible company that is accountable to all our stakeholders.

We are concerned to implement the Sustainable Development Goals and to work with our partners to achieve these goals. As a responsible organisation, we are confident that we can contribute to sustainable development and the common good while also generating value for our customers and shareholders.
